B2B Intent Data: Reach the Companies Already Looking for What You Sell

Most cold outreach goes to companies that aren’t shopping. We use buyer intent data to find the ones that are, then put your message in front of the people who make the decision.

The basics

What is B2B intent data?

B2B intent data is a set of signs that a company is actively looking into a problem or a type of product. When people at a business read about a topic, compare suppliers or visit pages about a solution, those actions leave a trail. Put together, they show which companies are likely to be in the market right now.

Examples of intent signals: visits to your own website, including which pages they looked at; a jump in research on topics linked to what you sell; and changes at a company that often come before a purchase, such as a new leader, new hires or growth. We use two sources. Topic-level intent shows companies and decision-makers who are actively researching topics tied to your offer. We can filter it by seniority and industry, it is refreshed daily, and it only counts activity from the last 14 days. Company buying signals include hiring for sales or marketing roles, funding, press releases, new sales or marketing leaders, and RFQs and RFPs.

Why it matters

Why timing matters more than volume

Sending more emails to more people rarely fixes a weak pipeline. Reaching a company in the weeks when it is actually looking for a solution gives your message a reason to land. Intent-based marketing helps your team spend its time on accounts that are more likely to want a conversation, instead of working through a cold list from top to bottom.

FAQ

Intent data FAQ

Still unsure? Talk to us.

What is buyer intent data?

Buyer intent data shows which companies are researching a problem or a type of product, based on their online activity. It helps you spot businesses that are likely to be looking for a solution like yours.

Is intent data the same as a lead list?

No. A lead list tells you who fits your target market. Intent data adds timing: which of those companies are showing signs they’re looking right now.

Do you sell intent data?

Intent data is included in every package, along with your account lists. We use it to run your outreach and book meetings.

Does intent data mean a company will buy?

No. It means a company is showing interest in a topic. It’s a sign to reach out sooner and with a more relevant message, not a promise of a sale.

Can you use intent data with our existing outreach?

Intent data is included in every package, along with your account lists. Yes. The lists can go to your own sales team through a daily feed, and we connect to whatever CRM you use.
